Poirier & Paquet Valuation Advisory Services was created in April 2023 out of both partners' vision of delivering professional, independent and non-bias advice to, not only private clients in the local markets, but also to large institutional clients and corporations holding countrywide real estate assets or managing portfolios without the necessary local market information, knowledge or presence.

Louis is a second generation appraiser with over thirty-five years of experience in the valuation industry and a dedicated volunteer that served on various boards and committees with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He has worked extensively in Montréal, Calgary and Atlantic Canada and has provided valuation and consulting services in all ten Canadian provinces. Louis has acted as an expert witness in arbitration, property tax assessment and expropriation cases, as well as civil litigation  and other specialized real estate tribunal matters.

Dominique brings over twenty years of mortgage financing of residential, multi-residential, commercial construction projects and developments, and mortgage loan insurance underwriting experience for both residential and multi-residential properties. Her knowledge and understanding of the industry foster an efficient delivery of quality reporting in compliance with the Canadian Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (CUSPAP).
